Final Paycheck Check
The Last Paycheck Kit

The letter, the claim walkthrough, and the file — for the check they already owe you

The free verdict gave you the number. The kit turns it into the artifacts that collect it: the written demand the statute rewards, the claim filed inside its window, and the documentation file that wins it.

One-time payment. No account. No subscription. The kit is a page you save and keep.

What's inside — all six parts

The Demand Letter Generator

Your verdict, written as the letter — state-cited, trigger-aware, with the accrual table built in and the certified-mail protocol that makes "I sent it" into evidence.

The Claim Walkthrough — all 51 jurisdictions

Your state's agency, its form, what to attach, what happens after you file — and the filing deadline in bold, because a missed claim window is the one error that cannot be undone.

The Documentation Timeline Builder

The evidence file in adjudication order — rate proof, last-day proof, stubs, the demand receipt, the dated stall log — assembled while everything is still reachable.

The PTO Fight Sheet

The four handbook sentences that decide your vacation money, the earned-wages argument for policy states, and the small-claims fallback where the agency route is weak.

Stall Scripts

Word-for-word answers to the six stalls — "payroll is processing it," the laptop hold, the forfeiture claim — each tied to the rule it is stalling against.

The W-2 & Final Pay-Stub Module

The stub you're owed, the January 31 W-2 clock, the IRS route when it never comes, and Form 4852 — filing on time without it.

Why a letter is worth money here

In about a third of the states, lateness has a daily price. In six of them, that price does not even start until a written demand lands — Colorado's penalty is the greater of 200% of your wages or $1,000, and it is switched on by the letter, not by the deadline. Generic template letters never cite the trigger statute and never carry the accrual math. The kit's generator writes yours from your verdict: your dates, your dollars, your state's citation, and the amount still accruing while they read it.

Read this before you buy — the honest limits

The Last Paycheck Kit is general information and document tooling. It is not legal advice, and buying it does not make us your lawyers. Penalty figures are computed as the maximum the statute allows; where a penalty requires a willful failure, a genuine dispute over the amount owed is a defense, and no kit can promise an agency's or a court's outcome. For large amounts, contested firings, or a claim window that has already closed, an employment attorney in your state is the right door — most take wage cases on contingency, because the same penalty statutes pay them.

Who it's for

Employees — W-2, not 1099 — whose final pay is late, short, or missing its vacation dollars, in any of the 50 states or DC. If your check hasn't been issued and the deadline hasn't passed, run the free checker first; the kit matters most once the clock is running.

How delivery works

Pay once, and you land directly on the kit page. The letter generator runs on that page, in your browser — your numbers are never sent to us. Print what you need; the page stays yours.
